Rest in Peace Brother and tell my to be in son law Josh Norris EOW 07/05/2007 and my prayers are with your family during this dark time. You will have your day, a day that you richly deserve, too many police cars to count, lights blazing sirens screaming will escort you. Hundreds of your brothers will stand at attention saluting you. A 21 gun salute will blast out in respect for you. A chilling, heart numbing tune, "Taps" will be played for you. Your precious love ones will receive the Flag. There will not be a dry eye left. Saint Michael the chief of police in heaven will greet you at the pearly gates and welcome you to Saint Peter's district. You will not be gone nor forgotten. For your strength and courage will live on to inspire every new deputy, every police officer everywhere. You got the call, you gave your all, and it was more than enough. So prop your feet up and take a load off up there. But keep an ear to the radio so that when another of your brother's number is called you can meet them at the gate with a cup of coffee and a smile. Oh and put in a good word for me up there, I like nights off.

To Deputy Boehm wife and children , your husband and Dad is not far from you, he is the whisper in the wind, that feel of being hugged when no one is there, he will always be at your side watching over ever accomplishment and catching ever tear that you shed.

Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office
