Reflections for Police Officer Todd Allen Bahr

Rest easy

I knew Todd when he owned and operated DAMAGE INC. FIREARMS here in Fredericksburg prior to him joining the police dept. I used to hang out at the shop several times a week and talk guns with him. He was a fantastic person and friend. I was sickened by the news once I heard of his passing and the events that led to it. I think of him every time a I drive past his old gun shop. He was an asset to our community and is missed dearly.

Yet another year has passed but it still feels like just yesterday! Can still smell and feel the stagnant mugginess of that night. Think of you and miss you everyday! Forever in my thoughts, you will never be forgotten! Know you are looking out for us

Thinking of you and your family today as I do many days. Continued prayers for your family as I know they miss you day in and day out. Thank you for the example you set for not only your comrades, but for our community. The world would do well to have more people with your courage and dedication to the safety and well being of others.

Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.

I cant believe that its been so long since you were called home. I often think about the times we hung out talking guns and gear. Know that you will never be forgotten and that your legacy lives on. Miss you brother...

Todd you are missed everyday. I know live on though. Your deeds will "NEVER" be forgotten. Everyday we honor your memory and we do it not because of the way you died. Because "THE WAY YOU LIVED."

I feel so unlucky to have never met you, Todd. All I can ever do is ask my fellow FPD Officers what kind of man you were and live vicariously through them. The more I know, the closer I feel to have known you. I will continue to be there to thank you at your resting place every single year.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 4th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

I pray for solace for all those that love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Your family is in my heart's embrace. Thanks to your family and friends for sharing their memories and devotion to you through their reflections.

Hi Todd... it's been 3 years and your birthday is coming up... I think of you everyday and miss you more and more. I had a fundraiser for you and all the other fallen officers... mom and dad were able to come to it... they finally got to see me ride :) My friends told me that they could really tell I was riding for you, because they had never seen me ride so well... I was riding for you that day...I love you and miss you... happy birthday...xoxoxo

I had to write a paper about someone who left a lasting impression on my life, and I wrote about you. I told your story and how you lived your life to the fullest. I told of how great of a man and officer you were, and mentioned that you are my role model both as a human now and in the future when I become an officer. I hope to become even a little part the man and officer you were...

Keep watching over your brothers and sisters down here... We miss you every day brother

You were such a good guy. You wore the uniform for all the right reasons. If a person had to have an encounter with a LEO, they were lucky to draw you. You were truly a humanitarian man. Strong, brave, funny, serious when required, empathetic. Just a really cool guy and good friend.

I think of you often, even now.

I'll see you when I see you.

Three years have passed and yet I still think of you whenever I hear of another officer that is gone too soon. This year has been a rough year for law enforcement and on Friday we lost another one. Please take care of Trooper Bowen. I hear he was a good man, soldier and Trooper. I know the Department still misses you terribly Todd and thinks of you often. RIP.

It has been just over three years since you left us. On June 24th many thoughts of June 6th, 2008 came back. The good lord has taken another hero from us and added him to him to your squad. You welcomed me with a big smile and open arms when I joined the FPD. Please do the same for Trooper Bowen. He is a good cop and eager to work just like the rest of us. We love you brother. Thanks for helping Adam. I am sure you will show him the ropes. Thanks buddy.
