There are no words to express the loss your loved ones experience without you being here. Each day is a challenge. I know the first thought they have when they awake each day is of you and the last thought at night before drifting off to sleep is of you. You will never be forgotten. Continue to keep watch over all of your loved ones and protect them from harm. You are a true hero.

To those who loved Deputy Thomas, my heart goes to you all. Know that you're not alone in this journey you walk. I lost my fiance in the line of duty January 2003 and my world was forever changed. It's been a long hard road, and even as time as gone forward, and I've found many reasons and ways to smile, I still have not forgotten the man that he was. Dennis was a beautiful person and he forever has a part of my heart, just as I'm sure Michael will always be a part of yours.

It takes a special person to put their lives on the line everyday to make this world a little safer for us all. I know many of these men never would've thought of themselves as "heroes" but they were in so many ways. It's sad that it they had to lose their lives for some of us to see that. Having said that, thank you Deputy Thomas for helping to make this world a better place. You will not be forgotten here in Winnipeg. I know this isn't a very manly thing to do, but if you happen to run into Dennis up there, please give him a big hug for the kids and I. Dennis was a good man and we miss him more than words can say.

Wishing those who loved you brighter and better days,

Jocelyne

I just wanted you to know how honored I am to be your Aunt. It's not often that a person lives their dream, but you mananged to do just that. Most of us just walk through life letting it take us wherever, but not you. You knew early where your destiny was and you ran head first into it! You were always playing as a fireman or a policeman. I want you to know what an HONOR it was for our family to have been chosen to have you in it. You will live in our hearts forever. Thank you for your service to our town and state. Thank you for being Micky. Happy Birthday!

Son,
Happy Birthday!! I still find it difficult to beleave that you are not coming back. I know God has a plan for you, and I need to accept the fact that you are not here. It is a pain so deep, that I could never have imagined. I love you so very much and at times when I list expect it I see your entire life like a video flashing before me. I hear your first cry and your last "I LOVE YOU MOMA" all in the same flash and my heart aches! I long to hold you! to touch you, I feel you here in Spirit and I will as you say try to Live Strong. Son, until God calls, I will keep the Faith; continue to try and be your voice for matters close to your heart, and I will hold you close in my Heart and My Memories and Most of All in my Prayers. Happy Birthday Son!! Love, Mama

The Lord led me to this scripture while deal with Mike and My dad's passing within the same month. I thought I would share.

Isaiah 57:1-2
The Good Men Perish; the godly die before their time......No One seems to realize that God is taking them away from the evil days ahead. For the godly who die shall rest in peace.

I miss you and will never forget you. You always had that smile on your face that made everyone else smile. You are a HERO and will always be loved. I know you are in heaven riding on God's force keeping and eye on us and playing pranks on Joe and Chad because yall are on patrol together again. I am glad that I got to Play and work with you and the wolf pack. I will miss calling you and asking where we are going to play while at work. I will always remeber you falling over that fence at Berry's and that run on Mertyle Beach with Sean and Ken. May you will be missed forever and loved longer. Be at Peace my Brother and freind. I love you Jackie, Eddie, Granny and the rest of the family.

Mike,
There are so many things that I want to say, but I do know that all I have to do is just look up at Heaven and know that your staring down at all of us with a huge smile, knowing that you are finally home. I am glad that I was able to be a part of your life. I know that I get selfish at times and wish that you were still here with us, but I then realize that God has another mission for you. Thank you for all of the great memories that you left here for us to enjoy. You will live on, in each and everyone of us. You changed soo many lives when you were here and I know that because of you I know personally I am a better person for that. I miss you and I will see you when God has another mission for me to take on. God Bless ! Sean
