In 1st grade we were playing tackle the man with the football outside. 1 of us tore the others shirt. We got in a fight. We were sent to the principals office. It was the 1st time for each of us. We both had tears in our eyes. We got our 3 licks each from Principal Edmund. We were laughing after we got our paddling. It wasn't near as bad or scary as we thought. We shook hands and that was that.
Scott, I'm going to miss you buddy!!
My condolences goes out to all of Scott's Family.

An Angel in the Sky must leave his Place of Rest,
Gently Tucking his Wings Beneath his Armored Vest.
For duty has called, There is much work to do.
Little did he know, This one is Dress in Blue,

Arriving on the Scene, He Knows just what to Say,
Follow Me. Fallen Brother. I'll Show you the Way,"
Your Duty has Ended, Your Work is Now Through."
Come Hang Your Hat beside Mine,
Im a Cop Too.

Rest in Peace Trooper James Scott Burns,
When one is Fallen We all feel the Pain.

Trooper Burns, it's hard to believe that your life was taken by a former police officer. As I write this, he still has not been captured. If your agency will allow, I will be there to help. To your new wife and baby, My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you, and I pray God's soothimg hand will touch you during your time of grieving.
Trooper James S. Burns may you ever rest in peace.
