Rest in peace brother.

I'm Free

Don’t grieve for me,
for now I’m free
A friendship shared,
a laugh, a kiss,
Ah yes, these things
I too will miss.
Be not burdened
with times of sorrow,
I wish you
sunshine of tomorrow.
My life’s been full,
I’ve savored much,
Good friends, good times,
a loved one’s touch.

Perhaps my time
seemed all too brief;
Don’t lengthen it now
with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts
and share with me,
God wanted me now;
He set me free.

Jim
You will be greatly missed by us all. You and I were sworn in together and have been friends since. You have always had nothing but good to say about anyone around and tried to help eveeone around you. You would drop anyting you were doing to help someone or to come in unexpected. You were someone that had the best attitude no matter the situation. I found out last night and today how great of a family you have. We love ya brother and take care of our other brothers in law enforcement that are patroling the streets of heaven. God Bless My Brother.

Officer Eric Headley
Millbook Police Department

Jim,

Although we never met my heart hangs low during this time of loss of a brother. Kinda strange how my wife and son are friends of your wife and son through karate but yet we never had the opportunity to bond. As a former Millbrook Officer and fellow neighboring Officer I know that you will now look over all of us and keep us safe while protecting our streets. Rest in Peace my brother and don't worry, your extended family will see that your wife and children will be well taken care of in your absence.
