Well Mark,
It's been exactly 1 week ago at this time that you so horribly lost your life. I wish that I would have kept in better touch with you but I always thought that there would be tomorrow to call. Well, tomorrow will never come. Now I can't stop thinking about you. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't look at your pages and cry. I know that GOD will heal all wounds but for now I'll just have to hurt. Michelle, I know it's been really hard for you, Austin, Bronson, Danae and Xander. But keep in mind that Mark so loved his family and would do anything for ya'll. He was a fantastic person and I will always strive to be more like him in anyway that I can. May GOD be with ya'll in this time of sorrow. Please call me for anything that you need.

Mark,
it is so hard for me to believe that you are gone and that there is no more time for our paths to cross again. You were and still are an inspiration to me and many others out there. You were always positive and always had a smile on your face for everyone. You will truly be missed by all those who ever met you. Thank you for looking out for me when I really needed someone. GOD BLESS YOU-----MY FRIEND.

Mark, I am still in shock and disbelief. We have enjoyed some good memories being friends for ten years, and I regret the couple of years that we were at odds and not being friends. I remember when we were friends before you were a police officer, and then when you joined the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office. I remember the times we had at the Sheriff's Office working together, and then going through the 20 weeks of Academy at B.R.P.D. and thinking it would never end. We spent alot of years as friends, and for many years we were like brothers. I have so many memories of fishing, hunting, and just hanging out, and I wish now that we could have back the years we missed. We talked for two hours on Monday, and you were so excited about buying that house. We talked about thirty minutes prior, and I wish that we would have stayed on the phone talking. I am sad and hurting for you and all of your family, and you will greatly missed.
Take Care and rest, you have made an impact on many people and will never be forgotten.

Mark,

I will miss you very much. I hurt every time I think about you, Michelle, Bronson, and Austin. I want to thank you for being my friend and for all the good times we shared. I admired the way you took your job seriously and the way you enjoyed life. You have made quite an impact on the people you worked with and the people of Baton Rouge. Jill and I will be there for Michelle and the boys when they need us. Rest now my friend and enjoy your retirement in the Kingdom of Heaven. We love you and we can't wait to see you again.
