Three years have past and you would think I would have come to terms with his untimely death...but I haven't. I still miss him greatly and think of all the wonderful time we had together. His love of fishing and catching huge catfish at my home and copperhead snakes while he and I fished will always remain in my throughts. I pray he is at peace and know what he will always be in my thoughts. Someday we will meet again.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the second anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

To Marshall Beam's family friends and admirers,

For reasons not published here, Marshall Beam's notice escaped posting until recently.

I'm glad it did make it. Marshall Beam obviously loved what he was doing if he was willing to ride an ATV in a parade. That's something we all enjoy watching, our public servants taking time to bring a smile to the faces of everyone.....especially kids. That's who the parades are really for.

Marshall Beam strikes me as a man who was an expert at coaxing a smile out of all those who knew him. I pray that's how you will always see him.

"Greater love has no man than this, that a man gives up his life for his friends." (John 15:13)

May the Lord Jesus bless you all.

Louis Beam was one of the first townn Marshals I met when I was a rookie. Louis was always willing to step up to the plate and take on any call with fearless courage. I spent many nights working with Louis and he was a great guy. RIP and you are missed.
