Lefty, it has been 17 years this date since you passed. It was an honor and privilege to have worked with you. You taught me many things and left many good memories of you behind. You were a positive influence on a countless number of people. I so wish you could have enjoyed the retirement that you were so close to and deserved to enjoy. You will never be forgotten. R.I.P.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 12th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. I pray for the solace of all those who love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever.
Rest In Peace

"Lefty" Holland, served his profession very proudly and I know that he is extreemly proud to be memorialized on this exceptional website. "Lefty" represented the character, committment, and compassion that all police officers should strive for in thier profession and he is fondly remembered by those who were fortunate enough to work with him, in thier careers.
