My deepest sympathy goes out to the wife and children, as a family member of a fellow slain LAPD officer, I know what a difficult time this is for the family and members of the LAPD as well. my prayers are with you all, may the lord hold you close and give you strength. I hope you will alway remember what a HERO Randy was to make ultimate sacrifice, doing what he loved...Protecting our community.

rest in peace. i have been watching this unfold on television. the media who sometimes does not provide all there is to know about an officer have done a good job. they let the people know that behind that badge was human being who not only gave his life but cared to give to the youth and unfortunate in your community while here on earth........we have the watch.......RIP

LAPD SWAT is one of our greatest law enforcement units in the United States and when I turned on the TV this morning and found out that an LAPD Swat officer was killed I was in shock.
My prayers go out to the family and friends of Officer Randy Simmons.
