Officer Cotton:
According to the site, you had two years on the job. That means after you saw the devistation of Katrina, you decided to join NOPD and give back to your community. New Orleans suffered another great loss today, and my heart goes out to your family, friends and co-workers at the New Orleans Police Department.

If tears could build a stairway, and heartaches make a lane,
we'd walk the path to Heaven, and bring you back again.
A heart of gold stopped beating, A shining smile at rest
God broke our hearts to prove, he only takes the best.

God Bless you my sister. Thank you for service and sacrifice. You fought the good fight, it will not have been in vain.

From one woman officer to another, thank you for making the ultimate sacrifice. I will never understand what goes through a person's mind when they harm or kill an officer; no one wins. Why did he do it? What was the point?? I'll bet you were very kind and loved by many. You will never be forgotten; you are a true hero!
