Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Detective Christopher Alexander Ridley

The first day I met you I knew you were a super hero when I saw those big ears. As we rode sector adam I asked you why did you become a Police Officer and you said I like helping people. From that day I knew you were going to be a good cop, friend, co-worker and brother. Myself and other Officers will make sure you are remembered every year up until the day you could retire. From this day on January 25th is Designated Det. Christopher A. Ridley Day in the State of New York. I love you, miss you and will never forget you.

Det.Christopher Ridley,
I came on a short while after you and got to know you. You were a good person to me at all times. We spoke on and off work and you never changed. I liked that about you. You kept it real with me. You kept this smile on your face every time we had coversations, that I will never forget. You encouraged me and told me to keep my head up and move forward on this job despite what others may have said. Thank you for being you. A true hero in my tearful eyes. I will miss you. RIP!...To your family, may you find comfort in knowing that GOD has all the answers and in time you will heal. GOD BLESS. PO KELLEY#2056 MT. Vernon PD

I just lost a good friend of 30 years, ASP Sgt. Rick LeBow. He was a good cop, and a wonderful person. I know the pain I am experiencing, and can only imagine how hard it is on you. Please take comfort in knowing that your friend, brother, father, son or relative will FOREVER be a hero and will NEVER be forgotten. May God continue to bless us all. My prayers are with your family as well as the LEO's who killed him. I know they are just plain SICK about their mistake.
