Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Detective Christopher Alexander Ridley

To our young BROTHER in blue, may you rest in peace. Your death is very sad. My thoughts and prayers are with your family, friends, and co-workers with the City of Mount Vernon, and the County Police Officers involved in the shooting. Now you can walk Heaven's beat.

Sr. Officer D. Johns
City of Sandy Springs Police, Georgia

What a tragedy for all involved. May God comfort not only Off. Ridley and his family but also the officers that mistakenly took his life. Sometimes we as officers are only given split seconds to make life or death situations. I am sure the officers in this situation made the appropriate decision given the situation they were presented with.

Off. D. Hanes
Oklahoma City Police Dept.

This is such an unfortunate incident, so unfair. My heart goes out to the family of Officer Ridley. Such loss is always painful, but it must be worse when it's by mistake. May God bless you and keep your eyes open to the truth. And to the officers who shot, my heart feels the pain you must have felt when you realized your mistake. May God let you all see the truth and grant you understanding and forgiveness.
