It is hard to believe that this happened to our department again. It seems like just yesterday that we lost "STEP". I to worked South Precinct and know what it takes to work the area. You and Barker are heroes in my eyes and I pray that Justice will be served to those responsible. Your families should be proud what you have done and for the service you both gave to your country and this department. You both will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace my brothers.

Rest In Peace young brother, for you have not taken your place with my nephew, Officer Norvelle Brown his end of watch was 8/15/07, Badge #828 he was 22 yrs old with 1 yr on the force. He to was ambushed by a 15 yr old who goal that day was to kill a police officer. My nephew was wearing his bullet proof vest that day, but the bullet entered through the arm opening, and caused a fatal wound.

This is how I learned of the Fallen Officer's web-site, and now I long on often. Our prayers or with your family, because this is only the start for them. The hardest part will not be looking down on you in your casket, but having to sit in a court room and come face to face with the animals that placed you on this web-site.

Say hello to my baby, he will be the on standing guard at Heavens Pearly White Gates.
