Another Deputy has fallen, Lord, You must have had a very special reason for needing him now, which is unknown to us. Deputy Pursifull is now standing his watch in Your Kingdom. He watches and now protects ALL of us. God bless you Deputy Pursifull, and thank you for all your time of service and God bless your family for allowing you to serve. I grew up with Sean, I became friends with him in 1st grade, then went on through school with him until we graduated high school. He was a good person and a true friend. I remember Sean as a person who always believed in doing the right thing. He never hung out with the wrong crowd, he was very good in track, he could run like a deer. I lost contact with Sean when I went into the military after high school, but I would see him around every so often, and of course he would always speak to me. When I came out of the military, I would see him in his police car driving through town, at the gas stations or just in passing down the sidewalk, and of course he would always wave or speak. I guess the thing I remember the most about Sean is how we as kids would try to break dance. I think we where in either the 3rd or 4th grade back then. I know that's hard to imagine some country boys from southeast Kentucky trying to do that, but we did. He will be missed, but never forgotten.

Deputy Pursifull, I am outraged at this senseless loss.......all over a tank of gasoline. At trial people will cry that these "children" are (hopefully) being tried as adults, because they have always been such good kids.....BOO HOO! Meanwhile you are no longer with us, and the citizens of Bell County no longer have you to protect them.

My prayers are with you and your family, as well with the brave men and women of the Bell County Sheriff's Department. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten.

REST IN PEACE NOW MY BROTHER..........WE'LL FINISH THE TOUR FROM HERE. GOD BLESS
