To those who loved Deputy Pursifull, my heart goes to you all, especially to his fiancee. Know that you're not alone in this journey you walk. I lost my fiance in the line of duty January 2003 and my world was forever changed. Even as time as gone forward, and I've found many reasons and ways to smile, I still have not forgotten the man that he was. Dennis was a beautiful person and he forever has a part of my heart, just as I'm sure Sean will always be a part of yours.

It takes a special person to put their lives on the line everyday to make this world a little safer for us all. I know many of these men never would've thought of themselves as "heroes" but they were in so many ways. It's sad that it they had to lose their lives for some of us to see that. Having said that, thank you Deputy Pursifull for helping to make this world a better place. You will not be forgotten here in Winnipeg. I know this isn't a very manly thing to do, but if you happen to run into Dennis up there, please give him a big hug for the kids and I. We miss him more than words can say.

Wishing those who loved you brighter and better days,

Jocelyne

There are not adequate words to describe what I feel towards your killers....Rest in Peace, Brother, you and King can now patrol with Billy, I can see you guys hanging out together and sharing stories and jokes.
Know that your children will have prayers said for them daily. The article in the paper of your service hangs on my office door and it gives me the opportunity to tell them what an exceptional officer you were..........
Rest now...

Another brave soldier in the never ending war on criminals in our country has been killed by a cowardly enemy. May the ruthless criminals responsible for this murder be brought to justice and sentenced to the most severe penalty. May the memory of your service, heroism and sacrifice remain forever. We are proud of you and thankful for all of your service. May God bless you and your family.

I was blessed to work with Sean on a number of occasions. He was a dedicated young officer of outstanding character. Our ranks and our profession suffer as a result of his death. As with many of our fallen heroes, he leaves behind family members who make as great a sacrifice as did he. May God bless them abundantly. Rest in peace my brother.

This has been a busy time. Sean's mother and I attended another memorial on Tuesday. This one took place near Louisville, the support that these people give is outstanding. The tributes that they pay to our heros is comforting. I appreciate each and everyone of them. I can't wait until the baby take part. We also had a baby shower this past weekend. It was outrageous the gifts I received for baby Sean. One thing I have learned is that people do care and their support means so much. I still feel the emptyness of losing Sean, I will never forget him or be able to stop loving him. He has changed my life in so many ways I could never forget him. I will love him always.

Sean would be so proud to know that the support all of his children have got. These are the one's he worked so hard to support and now they all are being taken care of. I get gifts from stranger and organization I never knew existed for the new baby. The baby will be here in about six weeks. There is no way for everyone to know how much the words of encouragment and the suppport that I get means. Sean had no idea what he meant to this small community, he was a humble man when it came to praise over his job. He did his job because it was part of his life, it was what he loved. I know he is in heaven watching over us and proud of everything we've done. I could never forget him I think of him every second it seems like. It is hard to imagine moving on without him beside me. I know that he died doing what he loved and the happiest he had ever been in his life, that makes life just a little easier. I will love him always.

I think of you every second. Missing you never gets any easier. When we met in November of last year our friendship was appreciated it was something we both needed
however things escalated an we found each other an immediately fell in love. The year we spent together an memories will last a lifetime. You said you always wanted a baby boy an that's what you got. The community support around he an I is outstanding. He will forever be provided for. Remember his mother has a respectful job. Your dedication an hard work will pay off for your son an daughter when they share in your hard work. Our home seems empty however when baby Sean arrives he will carry on your legacy an once again fill our home with love an joy. Love always watch over an protect us time will go by an we will be reunited.

We offer our heartfelt sympathy to the family, friends and colleagues of Deputy Pursifull and we honor his distinguished service to the cause of justice and peace. Sadly, our nation has lost one of its finest citizens, a community has lost a friend and protector, and a family has lost an example of character and courage who they will love and respect forever. Today, because of the sacrifice Deputy Pursifull has made, the house of freedom is stronger, sturdier, and more secure.

To the family, friends, and colleagues of Deputy Pursifull, I would like you to know that a lot of people pray for you, and my hope is that their prayers will give you the strength necessary to move on. Just as you were always with him when he walked the beat or patrolled the streets, know that he will always be with you - wherever you may be. In the days to follow, may you be strengthened by the fact that Deputy Pursifull is a man distinguished by exceptional courage and will always be admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities. You, your family and your sacrifice will never be forgotten.

For those who pledge to uphold it, Freedom requires a sacrifice the protected will never know.

We miss you everyday, it's not the same. My thoughts go out to everyone involved. We were as close as anyone. Stephanie be strong take care of that baby you know he loved you and was the happiest he had ever been. I do ever remember a time when he wouldn't shut up about you. You took care of him and made him happy, we heard about you all the time at work. I feel as I know you better than I do. Sean wouldn't want you to be going thru all this he loved you and would have wanted to protect you. Be strong you know the truth. rip 409.
