Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Police Officer Christopher Nicholson

My thoughts and prayers are with those friends and family members that are left behind and cannot follow. Rest in peace my brother in blue...we will take it from here.

Westminster City Police Department

My family and I used to live in Whispering Hills. I am not a police officer. I have heard of the news of your passing and am deeply saddened. My family and I moved a year before you were sworn in so I never had the honour of meeting you. If you were any the person that your fellow Smithsburg officers were then the world was a better place because of you.

I know that the Town of Smithsburg is deeply sadened by your sacrifice and my prayers for them as well. The Town Polce made the community a wonderful place to raise a family.

Rest in Peace Officer Nicholson.

Another Officer has fallen, Lord, You must have had a very special reason for needing him now, which is unknown to us. Officer Nicholson is now standing his watch in Your Kingdom. He watches and now protects ALL of us. God bless you Officer Nicholson, and thank you for all your time of service and God bless your family for allowing you to serve. Dear Lord take care of him, for he is special and you now have another fine Officer.

Rest in peace my Brother , Thank you for serving. My prayers are with your family and love ones during this trying time. Words will never explain the whys, since my family is still recovering from the lost of our future son in-law (Joshua Norris EOW 07-05-07) who gave his life while responding to a similar call and we still ask this question. But a sheep dog stood between a wolf and a sheep today and the sheep is safe.
