To Mrs Freeman, the children, family, friends and brothers on the job.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. I know this is like a bad dream. It feels like a dream still to me after 3 years. My brother was shot and killed by a driver he was trying to pull over for dui on Long Island. He had a wife and 2 children.
I know the pain you are all feeling. Officer Freeman has ended his watch here on earth and has been called by God for the most precious watch of all. He is now on watch with my brother Richie and all the other officers who have been called to Gods watch. May God give you all the strength you need to carry on.
You are in our prayers.

It is once again that we lose another brother. I pray for Officer Freeman and his family, as this is a rough time for them. There are no words for something like this. This is something, unfortunately, we have to face everyday. God Bless You Eric, you made the ultimate sacrifice.

I got a call from my family early this morning saying that another HPD officer had been killed in the line of duty. While I did not know you personally it hurts just the same. Having grown up in Huntsville this hits close to home for me.

To the Freeman family, know that so many thoughts and prayers are with you. Officer Freeman, you may be gone but you'll never be forgotten. You truly made the ultimate sacrifice. God bless you brother.

Your service to your community and Gods children in it will never be forgotten. As you now serve in our Lords heavenly kingdom there will be no more evil forces to contend with, only the goodly and rightous of mankind who have gone to His home. Your new beat is on His golden streets, peace and joy are yours forever. Rest in peace brother.

Stand strong my brothers, at this time we all bleed blue. We stand behind you and we will help carry you through this difficult time. These are the times in which our resolve is put to the test, and these are the times in which we show the world what brotherhood truly means.

Officer Freeman, I don't think I have ever spoke a word to you in person, but that makes no difference as I have lost a brother. I have lost a member of my true family and I will FOREVER keep you in my thoughts, where ever my life takes me, what ever I may encounter you and all my other fallen brothers will be in my thoughts.

We live in a changing world, a world that seems to have no sense of the value of human life. We must all stand and do what we can to protect that precious gift. We are the guardians.

Matthew 5:9 - “Blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called the children of God.”

I will miss you brother. You always had a smile on your face where ever you went. I am a police officer and the wife of one of Freeman's co-workers. Freeman you will be missed. I only met you one time during a prisoner exchange, but my husband speaks highly of you. I cannot believe this happened, when no one I know has gotten over Daniel's death.

Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the sons of God. Matthew 5:9
Rest in Peace Brother. To the Freeman family: Please seek strength in the Lord.
