As Bobby would say, "Hey Mo!". Fellow 9-11 worker and more importantly had the pleasure to work w/ Booby. I was a wide eyed rookie meeting Bobby and His partner at the time. Ahhh, the laughs that were had, the knowledge that was gained and the Memories that are kept. You are missed Bobby and were truly One of a kind! My Prayers to Maur and Family. God Bless Mo!

DON'T GRIEVE FOR ME
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free
I'm following the path god laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard him call,
I turn my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Task left undone must stay that way,
I found that peace at the close of the day.
If my parting has left a void,
Than fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
Ah yes, these things I, too, will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow,
My life's been full, I savored much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, He set me free.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL. No other words can be said

Bobby was a great cop. I met him while we were arresting a group of kids wilding in the village. Bobby was driving to the precinct, but stopped to help us. We were from the 6th precinct and he was from the 5th. We talked and found we live in the same building in the Bronx. We remained friends through the years. We were both "collar men" and would see each other in court. After we both left the job, we always stayed in touch. Bobby was a great cop but, more importantly he was a great father to his children. Every time I spoke to him, he was always doing something with them. Even as he knew his time was limited he always gave you time to speak to him and always spoke about his family. May God take care of one the best detectives the NYPD will ever know!

Bless you Bobby, a true gentlemen,
