Guard McAteer, thank you for your service and dedication.

How does a person convicted of such a cruel and senseless crime not receive life without parole???

Watch over your family, including your brothers and sisters in uniform.

Rest in peace.

It has taken over 30 years, but you are finally being honored. I would like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Lancaster County. There is no tougher job in Law Enforcement than that of a Corrections Officer.
