Hey Bro,
That's who you are to me, still after all these years, my big Bro. I think of you often. Your brother....my husband is still suffering from your absence. Your nephews, Emory, David jr., Corey and little Bryce still get so emotional When thinking of you. You spent so much time with them that that all Have their own stories of you. My gosh, just missing you so much. I had gone through an extremely tough time recently, a few years ago. I remembered thinking....man if Bro were here, this would have never ever happened. You always took care of us. That's why we wear your shield around our neck. You still protect us everyday. We love you Bro and we Miss you like crazy. RIP.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the fifth anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

I pray for the solace of all those who love and miss you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. We shall never forget any of our 9/11 heroes and our nation will forever be grateful for your supreme sacrifice.

James,

I remember working Sector Eddie with you many years ago. I remember getting a gun run and thinking this is it, and then you drove the car so slowly. I was talking to Will about that a week or so ago, and we were laughing. Though I'm no longer on the job, I miss your easy smile and calm attitude. I hope you're at peace. It was a pleasure to work alongside you.

Things haven't been the same since you passed on. I miss calling you up and telling you funny stories about things that could only happen to me :o). Every now and then whenever something funny happens, for a quick moment, I think to myself "let me call James" and then reality sets in. You were the best brother and I miss you very, very much. You may be gone, but you will NEVER be forgotten. I love you.
