For the short time I knew you, I gained so much respect for a man who knew how to care for and respect others so much more than most people do. You are a hero to so many people and an inspiration to all of us in the academy. When I was in need, you reached out and was willing to help me. I will not disappoint you. I will do my security job as you did everyday, with pride and honor. Although you will be greatly missed, you will also be greatly remembered. My thoughts and prayers are with the ones you left behind. May God be with them as you are now with him.

A Time For Everything

There is a time for everything,
and a season foe every activity under heaven:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

Mike you were a guy that didn't take no for an answer. I remember when we attended SEMO Law Enforcement Academy, and they told you that your medical problem wasn't accepted. You then told them that you would achieve your goal somewhere else. Everyone that knew you, knew you had a heart of gold. You were a great neighbor in East Prairie and everyone wished you the best of luck when you left. We will carry your legacy on may GOD be with your family. RIP MIKE!
