I don't go an hour without thinking about you. You had such an impact on all of our lives. You were the best Agent the AF could've asked for and we are truly grateful for the protection you provided. I think about all the special and priceless moments we all had with you. I know you are looking down on us, still continuing to protect us. We love you so much and can't wait to see you on the other side. We don't live one minute without you. Give the others a hug for me!

P.S. I found a stuffed toy Donkey on the internet...The company, on their own, named the Donkey Dave. It looks exactly like the one we have on our memorial sweatshirts.
Of course I bought one! Love You!

Dave,

You were a great leader and friend. I learned a lot from you and I will never forget the times we had together. Goin out to Chelsey's Pub to watch some of SA finest cover bands. Going over to your apartment and having cookouts. It was great to have known you. I know you are in a better place now. May God watch over your family in this time of loss. You will never be forgotten.

Brother…Your sacrifice has not gone unnoticed. You raised you hand and said you would fight for those who could not fight for themselves. Rest In Peace… we will take it from here!

We all know the very real danger we face when we go to fight for not only our nation’s freedom, but the freedom of those who cannot fight for themselves. Freedom is NOT free and only those who serve or have served (including their families) understand the true cost. We pay for it with our own freedom and you and others like you offered up the ultimate sacrifice. You are a warrior and a hero. You defended those who defend America and it’s way of life. There is no higher calling, nor service to our country. We will move on, we will do right by you and your sacrifice, we will not forget you. Rest in peace brother. May God grant your family solace from their grief. Watch over us as we continue the fight.

To the family, friends, and officers that knew Agent Wieger, my thoughts and prayers are with you as you face the trying times ahead of you. Please know your not alone.

Here I am, lost in the light of the moon that comes through my window
Bathed in blue, the walls of my memory divide the thorns from the roses
It's you and the roses

Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow
Heal me from all this sorrow
As I let you go I will find my way when I see your eyes
Now I'm living in your afterglow

Here I am, lost in the ashes of time, but who wants tomorrow?
In between the longing to hold you again
I'm caught in your shadow, I'm losing control
My mind drifts away, we only have today

Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow
Heal me from all this sorrow
As I let you go I will find my way
I will sacrifice 'til the blinding day when I see your eyes
Now I'm living in your afterglow

When the veils are gone as I let you go, as I let you go

Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow
Heal me from all this sorrow
As I let you go I will find my way, I will sacrifice
Now I'm living in your afterglow

Bathed in blue, the walls of my memory divide the thorns from the roses
It's you who is closest

Dave,
It seems like just yesterday we were sitting down after training having a few drinks and talking about our upcoming deployments. You were so excited about it...While it's never good when we lose an agent, your death has been especially difficult for me to deal with. You were a great person in life and I know that we all rest easy knowing we have someone "up there" watching our backs. We miss you!
