Brian: It was 12 years ago today we said goodbye to you, yet sometimes it feels like only yesterday! God needed you more than we did.... and our hearts, while still broken, can find peace knowing you’re up there watching over us, and you will always be forever in our hearts.

I met your mother this week at my son's (State Trooper Christopher J. Lambert) wall dedication ceremony in Springfield, Illinois. I felt her pain of missing you when she approached me and wrapped her arms around me. The pain of loosing a child is almost unbearable!! Your mom is a strong woman and I'm happy to have met her. We will both and all gone on loving and honoring our sons for giving their ultimate sacrifice and knowing that one day we will see our boys again. God Bless You and thank you for your service.

I just wanted to take a minute today and wish you a Happy 35th Birthday! The years have gone by so fast it seems. I know that not a day goes by that you're not thought of and missed so much by all the people whose lives you touched. So... Happy Birthday!

thinking of you as spring comes and your birthday. Keep watching over the family. Bennett and Aubrey talk about you and send prayers all the time - even though they never met you while you were on this earth.

Brian,
Just sitting here at work and wanted to let you know that I was thinking of ya! You are truly missed down here. I lost a classmate this year, too, back in March and made me think of ya when it happened. Love ya brother.

Another brother was killed the other day. A young Officer from Pontiac. Also killed by a drunk driver. Made me think about you. You're an inspiration everyday of my life. Rest easy, buddy.

Brian:

I wanted you to know that we were thinking of you today and am sending a big "hug" all the way to heaven to let you know how much you are missed and how often you are thought and spoken of. I know you are in place of more peace and love than any of us could ever imagine. You will always be a part of us and we love you very much. Until we meet again....

Brian

Today I find myself thinking of you a lot. Words can NEVER describe the pain in my heart the day I found out you. I can remember every second that night we met up for a bit at work and when I heard you call out on a traffic stop and me turning around and getting to your location not because I knew you needed backup only because every second I was around you, you made me a better person, better police officer, and I looked up to you in so many ways. I LOVE YOU with all my entirety. I just wanted to let you know that there isn't a second in the day that I don't think about you in one way or another. My girls wanted me to tell you hello and they gave you a BIG KISS AND HUGS. Love you brother

Brian - I just wanted to take a few minutes and wish you a Happy Birthday. Today, on what would have been your 30th Birthday, I wish you quiet sleep, dreams of meadows, deep in flowers and grass, of oceans calm and flecked with silver, of islands hushed by gentle waves...Today, I wish you love.
