Our prayers go out to Officer Sergio Carrera's wife and children as they struggle to accept their new reality.

This is such an incredibly sad, yet all too common result of an officer performing his duties, where a nutcase on drugs and in possession of a firearm doesn't want to be apprehended. Officer Carrera paid with his life for this low-life's actions. Our hope is that the justice system will be just as swift and deadly with their decision to rid the Rialto community of one more drug dealer/user.

Officer Carrera, you are a hero and will not be forgotten; rest in peace, sir.
