My heartfelt prayers to the family of Officer Brentar and to his fellow officers who serve (my) community of Euclid with pride and who put their life(s) at risk daily, for our safety. I was a motorist returning home from work when I saw the horrific accident. His untimely death is a reflection to all of us that life is so precious. I hope that time will mend the broken hearts of so many people who are trying to cope with this huge loss. God bless.

I met George through Hooked on Fishing when I lived and worked in Euclid with The Interfaith Suburban Action Coalition. My children, Michael and Owen (now 16 & 21 years of age) were mentored by these awesome and amazing police officers through PAL. These two young men of mine are outstanding, unbelievable individuals and I credit those officers with helping to mold their character. George was one of those officers. I thank his family for sharing him with all of us. I am so sorry for his family's loss - he was a great officer and individual.
My thoughts and prayers are with them.
