Our hearts are heavy here at the Patrol. May God be with David's family, friends, co-workers, and everyone affected by this tragedy. I know what it is like to lose a spouse at a young age, my husband died at age 37 and my children were 4, 6 and 8. To David's wife, let God guide you through this. Someday you will discover God's reasoning for all this heartwrenching pain. Our thoughts and prayers and hearts are with you, God Bless.

Trooper Graham; Your service was not in vain although the circumstances of your death are senseless. You may rest in peace as others will carry the torch in your stead. We will not fail you and we will watch over your family. To Mrs. Graham and Kids; Your husband and father was a special man for the choices he made and the dedication to duty he willingly carried stoutly on his shoulders that others may sleep peacefully in their beds at night. May you all be reunited some day in a place far better than we could ever dream of. To the Montana Highway Patrol; We, your brothers and sisters in Arizona grieve with you at your loss of a dear friend and co-worker. May the echos of "taps" give us pause to the sacrifices of so many in the cause of freedom.
