Brother Jason as you adapt to your new assignment in the Lord's law enforcement department know that your memory of faithful service to your community, to your department and to your family will never be forgotten. You will always be a hero to your brothers and sisters who have had the honor of serving with and around you. We seek the Lord's blessings and His grace to be with all your family as they go through the greif of losing you. Farewell til we meet in His law enforcement department, rest in peace.

I'd like to say how terrible I feel after hearing about another fellow officer lost in the line of duty. This strikes home very close because my wife is a deputy with this agency. God knows I can't wait for 2007 to end, it has been a terrible year for all of us here in Texas law enforcement. God bless the family, friends, and co-workers of this deputy.

Deputy Constable Norling, I view this page every single day, hoping that I don't see another fallen officer, then it seems to take me a few days before I can sit down and actually read through everything on the page. Tears fill my eyes, another brother called home. You did your job, and from the looks of it, you did your job well. I pray that you and your family find peace from these events, somehow. I will keep you and your family so close in my heart, thoughts, and in my prayers. Thank you for paying the ultimate sacrifice sir. God Bless
