To the family and friends of Officer Talbot - You have suffered such a devastating loss. It is something we all think about, but try to push to the back of our minds. Well, tonight it is on the forefront, where it will likely stay for a very long time. It is my prayer for you all that you will take some measure of comfort in knowing that the entire law enforcement community is mourning with you. Please know that we cry with you and feel the searing loss of one so young and vibrant, gone in a moment.
