Friday evening, September 21, 2007, marked the beginning of Yom Kippur the Day of Atonement. In the Jewish tradition it is said that those who pass away on Yom Kippur are those whom God holds a little closer. So may it be with Detective Moreno. May this hopefully offer some comfort to his family, friends, and colleagues at this time of tragedy. May his memory be forever a blessing.
