Officer Gardner was a very fine officer that will truly be missed. I can never repay him for what he did for my family in January by helping find my daughter and being there at the hospital with her the whoel time she was there. His memory will live on forever in our hearts and especially in the hearts of my family.

I rememebr when you were in animal control Scott and worked hard to make it to the streets. I was impressed by how quickly you learned the streets and the application of the law. You made the ultimate sacrifice and there was not a dry eye at your funeral. We all miss you and you are a hero to all of us. You, Abel, and Arlie will be our FTOs in heaven someday.

I cannot express my saddnes enough to the family and the department of Corporal Gardner. My husband was a Toledo Police Officer who was killed in the line of duty in February of this year and the pain and shock of this horrible tragedy is still fresh.
