Ron Harrison was a wonderful father and consummate gentleman. He was a dedicated and professional law enforcement officer who was deeply involved in reducing the danger that drunk drivers pose to the community. His smile, good humor and determined focus will be greatly missed. God Bless him and may St. Michael welcome Ron and console his family and the HCSO.

We have lost a good man who had a passion for his work. I came to know Ron through meetings and conferences in the endeavor to make our communities safer by removing impaired drivers from our roads. He was very dedicated and hard working. I was shocked to learn of this tragedy.

My prayers go out to his family. Know that he was proud to be a Deputy Sheriff...a warrior who fought for the safety and security of us all here at home. The law enforcement community grieves the loss of Sergeant Ron Harrison with you, but we will continue the endeavor.

My thoughts are with all of your loved ones and your close friends. Such a senseless act that has brought heartache on so many loved ones. Some solace is the family has been spared the legal battle to seek justice in this case. Continue to keep watch over your loved ones and protect them from harm. Visit them in their dreams to let them know you are close and alright. You will never be forgotten.

My heart goes out to the harrison family and the hcso family. It's so sad that a 20 year vet is killed by such a slimeball.Thank God that the girlfriend called the Police and advised to where the killer lived. It is just a shame that he could not be brought to justice. GOD SPEED SEREANT HARRISON. Tampa Florida has lost another fine Officer.
