Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Sergeant Ronald Hamlin Harrison

My condolences to SGT Harrison's family and fellow deputies. Although I have never met him, I have seen SGT Harrison on TV many times and he seemed passionate about his work. It is a shame that some people have no respect for our LEO's and commit senseless crimes such as this against them. Although SGT Harrison is gone, his efforts over the years will continue on with those he touched and his fellow deputies and officers. Thank you for your service to Hillsborough County. RIP

No greater love has a man than this, that he lay down his life for a friend. Sgt. Harrison laid his life down for his friends, the citizens of Hillsborough County. Go rest high on the mountain brother you have earned it. For Sgt. Harrison's family I pray that God will give you peace and understanding someday. God bless you for the sacrifice you too have made.

Ron was a great guy and will be missed by all. It's so sad this happened. Ron was an advid Buc's fan and begged me (teasingly) to take him to the SuperBowl with me in 2003 when the Buc's played and won. Ron, I will miss you very much but you are in a far better place now.
