This man's life was taken for no reason...other than that he was a law enforcement officer and represented the best our society has to offer. This officer served the public for 20 years. I honor his service and I honor his family for their dedication and sacrifice.

Sgt. Harrison thank you for what you did during a career that we are all finding out was an outstanding one. All members of the Tampa PD will have you and your family in our prayers. God bless the HCSO SWAT deputies that shot and killed the suspect. A job well done in ending this tragedy the right way. Everybody be safe.
