Sgt. Harrison, We were in a DUI checkpoint class together in Palm Beach. Although I only had the pleasure of knowing you a short time, I knew from several conversations we had during breaks that week, that you were a compassionate human being and loved "pinching" the drunks as much as I do. You were one of the few people n this world that made a lasting impression on me.Im grateful for having the opportunity to have known you. My thoughts and prayers will be with you, your family, and the men and women of HCSO during this terrible time. RIP brother we will carry the tourch from here.

I never had the chance to meet you Sergeant, but I wish I would have. Though I didn't get that chance, you wore the same uniform I do and did this job for the same reasons, to help people. You sir are a hero, and you have been for the duration of your career. You will be sorely missed and remembered daily. Rest in peace and know that we will do exactly what you would want, we will fight this war tooth and nail. We know you will watch over us. Thoughts and prayers to your family and friends.

Sgt., I served on your patrol squad for many years, and I will miss your humor. But, it's time for you to relax. So, after you meet your savior in person, grab a fishing pole, kick back and enjoy. I can't tell you how much you are missed by your family, and your friends at work. It was an honor serving under you. I have many memories of your leadership and friendship that I will keep dear to me. As you enjoy your true pension, look down on us from time to time, and please smile. And, keep cheering on your football teams, the little league and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I hope you will be waiting for me at the gates when it’s my turn to go home. Then, you can show me the ropes again, and we‘ll take X40 together. Thank You!

My heart aches for your loved ones Sgt Harrison, both your immediate family and your police family. Chills ran down my spine as I read your memorial, as it mirrors our officer's page nearly word for word. I am so deeply sorry your friends and family must endure this unexplainable grief. May they find comfort in these reflections and somehow muster the strength to carry on. Your legacy lives on in all who know and love you.

Rest peacefully Sir, for you are a TRUE HERO

To Bud, the Daughter of Sergeant Harrison:

We love you and will be right by your side during this time and forever!

WHITE ROSE (W. Poe)

In the storm
Stands the white rose
tumultuous waves
of destruction abound her

Yet tall is the white rose
strong in the face
Of the sensed doom around her
And she does not bow down

Pure is the white rose
In the compost earth
growing eternal strength
in the nights that so hurt

I see not the white rose
She is so far away
But I long to protect her
But only the words can I say

So I send her my words
And my poets heart
To help her when
there is hope to see her through

Be Strong little flower
Your heart will guide true
And as long as you want
I will always talk to you

Love Jerry & Anastasia Daniels

Sgt. Harrison, it grieves me that you were yet another victim of a senseless act by a mindless murderer. Yet, I am very grateful for God's swift and most efficient justice. Thank you sir for your years of dedication and your ultimate sacrifice. To the SWAT officers involved, you have my deepest gratitude. To Sgt. Harrison's family, I am praying for much of God's grace for you at this time. To the HCSO family, you have my sympathies and my prayers as you continue your patrol. Romans 13:4.
