It's the call everyone hates to hear, "an officer down!" When we responded to the scene of this horrific crash, immediately our hearts went out to you, your family, friends and co-workers. Upon arrival of fellow officers from Longwood, they immediately were thinking of you and yours and described you as a dedicated officer serving the public, how you loved your job and lived for your family. They took special effort to inform us of how special a person and officer you always were. May you rest in peace knowing that you will be deeply missed by all!

Sergeant Strohsal,
Answering the call to serve and protect one's community takes courage and committment that so few have. You did have this, sir. A simple thank you can never convey how grateful average citizens are. You will always be remembered. Our thoughts are with your loved ones, friends and the Longwood PD at this difficult time.
