REST IN PEACE, BROTHER.

OFC B. GRAJEK

Rest in peace brother, you gave everyone that knew you an example of how we should be. You were there in a heartbeat if needed and just as fast even if we didn't just because thats how you were. You were a true hero and you did this by being eager to help, protecting us, and by being there any time we asked. To those that didn't know this hero just know that he would have done anything just to know that you were safe and he did this just by being himself and not expecting anything in return. To his family you are in my family's thoughts and prayers. "Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the sons of God"

May your family know that they have the thoughts and prayers of all your brothers and sisters! I had the pleasure to attend a class with Wes last year. He was so kind to collect all of the names & contact info for the class & send it to all of us. I can only imagine how kind he was to those he knew on a daily basis. You will be missed!! God be with your family!

I AM A WARRIOR
by Jon F. Hooper

I fight not for glory or fame,
For they are momentary.
I fight for those who can't.
I fight for Justice.
I fight for the oppressed and the down trodden.
And if I should lose my life for these just causes, then I have no regrets,
For I serve to protect the innocent.
It matters not where or when,
For evil knows no boundaries.
Be it fire, flood, or the threat of tyranny,
I will not flee.
Justice is my weapon.
Faith is my shield.
Hope is my armor.
Cry not at my passing,
For it was my Honor to fight for you.
Shed not tears of sorrow,
But tears of joy,
For now,
I stand with God.

Officer Hardy,

You will be remembered for many things. Your kindness to others will be one of the greatest memories...

You conducted your last traffic stop on the evening of July 6, 2007. I was the driver of that vehicle. Though I had violated the law, you were extremely kind to me. You let me off with a warning. We than talked for a few minutes and got to know eachother after you learned I worked in the dispatch center. It was a good talk, one that I will forever remmeber. You gave me advice and shared your wisdom with me, because I expressed my plans of becoming an officer myself in the next few months. That wisdom and advice will stay with me forever. You than ended the stop and went home for the night. As I woke up the next day, I learned of this tragic accident and felt so sad, but appreciative to have met you. All I can say, is that you are truly a hero to us all, especially me.

Thank you for your service. R.I.P. my friend.
