Although I only knew you breifly, I missed our working together when I crossed the state line. You always made me forget my troubles and sorrows each time we met in the basement of Bi-State or out on the street when I worked in Texas. It is a pleasure to know you and I will always call you friend. Rest in Peace Brother and may God comfort your family in this time. Although you have been called home, You will never be forgotten.

I still cant belive you are gone Mikey. I will always remember the good times, and the way you always made me laugh. You would not belive the support we have recieved from agencies around the US. You have no idea how many people you have touched. Please be by Cyenthia's side and bring her comfort. Our lives will never be the same. I dont know why we do not say how we feel while people are still alive. But I wish I could of told you that I love you and you are a wonderful person. I will never forget you.

I was fortunate to have visited with Michael a couple of months ago. A fine young man, married to a fine young woman. They obviously had something 'special' that some of us find, perhaps, once in a life time. I'm glad Cyenthia had those years to share with such a fine husband and father of her children. She will be able to tell these small children of their father's love, character, compassion, strength and sense of humor. As I visted with her today, she told me of Michael wrestling an alligator and hog tying him...about a month ago. Any guy who would wrestle an alligator, with his Sheriff's uniform on, would not hesitate to chase a crook into the woods.

I want to thank each officer, family member, and friend who has supported Cyenthia the last few days. Her heart is broken. "She will never get over this, but together we can all get through it"

The 700-800 officers who turned out for Michael's celebration of life speaks for it's self as to the brotherhood shared among officers. Please do stay in touch with Cyenthia and continue to support her, and her babies and in keeping Michael's memory alive.

She plans to continue her college education and is working towards an MBA in Business Administration so she can make a good life for herself and her little ones.

I wish so much that I could just take her pain away. Why do bad things happen to such good people?

We offer our heartfelt sympathy to the family, friends and colleagues of Deputy Page and we honor his distinguished service to the cause of justice and peace. Sadly, our nation has lost one of its finest citizens, a community has lost a friend and protector, and a family has lost an example of character and courage who they will love and respect forever. Today, because of the sacrifice Deputy Page has made, the house of freedom is stronger, sturdier, and more secure.

To the family and friends of Deputy Page, I would like you to know that a lot of people pray for you, and my hope is that their prayers will give you the strength necessary to move on. Just as you were always with him when he walked the beat or patrolled the streets, know that he will always be with you - wherever you may be. In the days to follow, may you be strengthened by the fact that Deputy Page is a man distinguished by exceptional courage and will always be admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities. You, your family and your sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Michael Page was married to my cousin, Cyenthia. He was a wonderful man. A real fun person to be around. My favorite memories of Michael surround him making everyone laugh. He was always picking on me, but in a good way. Always making some kind of joke or funny face. I will definitely miss him. Our family Christmas and Thanksgiving get togethers will never be the same. He was the life of the party. Michael, you will always be remembered and missed. And Cyenthia, I am here for you. Anything you need, call me. I don't care what time it is or what it's for, just call me.

Although I never had a chance to meet you personally, I can only imagine the honor I would have felt to have to as my friend. Working in the same building as you has made me realize what a great loss this is to every police agency around. My heart and prayers go out to your family. You were a good man and will continue to be a role-model for many aspiring police officers, including myself. It's people like you who truly change and unite the world. You will never be forgotten Deputy Michael Page, B.C.S.O. "Show 323 out of service. He has gone home."

As a Bowie County (civilian) citizen, not associated with law enforcement anywhere, I want to express to you, the family of Michael Page, my deepest sympathies for your loss. I have never met your Michael, but from reading all that everyone had to say about him, he sounded like a wonderful man, and I know to have a career like his takes a special person. I deeply respect and appreciate all that Michael did to maintain law and order, keeping me and my family safe in our own home. As good as he was, he could not have kept it up without the love and support of his family, so I say "Thank you for sharing him" and allowing him to serve and protect us. I am so sorry for your loss. May God be with you.

Your are our hereo. Our prayers go out to you and your family. You gave all protecting the public and your family. I knew when my husband left to go assist your agency he might have to pay the sacifrice that you paid. I can't say that our paths have ever crossed, but needless to say you are our brother. God speed for the wind is beneath your feet and you are watching over all of us and your family.

No words will suffice. No expressions of symapthy seem adequate at a time such as this. I would like for the family, friends and co-workers of Deputy Sheriff Michael Page to know there are folks all across this nation lifting them up in prayer before the Almighty.
May you each experience the eternal love and endless blessings of our Lord and Savior in the coming days.
