I am so sorry for your loss. I was reviewing the officers lost when Cpl. Thompson posted to the website. Tears came to my eyes as I know a family is in mourning today. To Cpl Thompson's parents, nothing or no one can make up for the absence of your son, you must simply hold out and see it through. As long as you keep him in your heart, he is with you. He is with you as the sun rises, he is with you as the sun sets. He is with the with the snow falling, he is with you in the stars.

To his family in blue.......I salute you. Your bravery every day to go to work and preserve the safety for others is such a mighty job. Keep Cpl Thompson in your hearts as you forge forward. His memory can be kept alive in your day to day duties.
