Corporal Thompson, Although your time on Earth was far too short, you lived your life in an admirable and commendable way. Serving others in the field of law enforcement is more than a job - it is a calling. Thank you for answering the call for service to others. May God bless you and keep you ever close to Him. Each "Officer Down" incident saddens me, yet strengthens me to stand up, support, protect, and defend Officers of the Law.... it hurts even deeper when the Officer who passes away is relatively young in his or her career. God Bless Corporal Thompson, and may his family and friends find solice. Peace be with you.
