Scott-As we near the anniversary of your passing I wanted to let you and your family know that you are still in my thoughts. I was one of the many paramedics at your side and flew with you to Baltimore. I never got the opportunity to meet you. But I wish I had. I do my best to help others everyday but you were special. I, as well as all on scene, did our very best that day. It still hurts when I think back. I make it a point to pause everyday I drive by your memorial on Rt32. Know that even though you are gone, you still effect peoples lives. Tracy-remain strong and know Scott's memory lives within you.

I think about you every time I drive on Route 32.. I say a silent prayer for protection for police officers each time I pass by the site where you were killed.

You are not forgotten.

Hey Scott,
Today Mason saw the frost on the grass, he thought it had snowed. He was so excited he said I think Uncle Scottie made it snow from heaven. Eventhough you are not physically here with us, we feel your spirit around. Mason knows you're his guardian angel he said to me, Uncle Scottie loves me. I told him very much so, and we love him and miss him very much. Thinking of you often!

Scott,
Mason has been talking about his Uncle Scottie a lot lately. Just the other day he was drawing a picture and I asked him what he was drawing, he said that he was drawing a picture for his Uncle Scottie who is up in heaven. I said well how are you going to get it to him, he said when he comes back down. I asked him what he thinks you are doing up there, he said looking at the clouds. I am not sure if he actually remembers when you were here or if he just remembers seeing pictures and hearing us talk about you. I want him to always know who his Uncle Scottie was. I tell him that you are his guardian angel and that you are always watching over him. Mason also likes to pretend he's a police officer like daddy and Uncle Scottie and he says he's locking-up bad guys. It's really cute! We sure miss you and wish you were here with us. I believe that God needed you with him and that you are in a better place. I know you will always be watching over and protecting us. We love you.
