In 2002 after 50 years of not having a Motor Patrol, myself and six other officers started the New Mexico State Police Motor Patrol. Our Department is of very strong tradition and values.I retired in 2004 and Officer Mirabal was selected with others as the second group of "MOTOR MEN." In five years of Motor Patrol this is the first major incident involving the division. I directly attribute this to the intense advanced training all Motor Officers endure. So I tip my hat to all who ride the wings of angles on two wheels. "Motor Man" Sr. Patrolman Christopher Marabal you will forever be an ANGEL IN BLACK and be forever on the wings of your fellow Motor Officers. Rest now in the loving wings of our LORD and SAVIOUR,Jesus Christ. AMEN.
