An Ohio brother

June 14, 2007

My goodness, I read about Deputy Mayo and felt like the rest of us do when we lose a brother in blue but my God, losing another in the funeral procession for the fallen officer. That has to be a first, at least the first I heard of. I can only imagine the loss the department is dealing with losing two officers only days apart. And to the families of both officers, my heart and prayers go out to you all. To the officers of the St Tammany Parish Sheriff Dept, my prayers are with you my brothers. I hope and pray I never see another officer from your department on this list.
Cpl Ramier and Deputy Mayo, may you enjoy your new assignment. Rest well brothers, we have the watch from here.

To all the members of the St. Tammany Sheriff's Office, my deepest sympathies to your entire department. From just loosing a brother officer from my own department, I know how devastating this can be. May both Cpl. Ramier and Deputy Mayo rest in peace with all of our other fallen brother and sisters. They have served their time here in Hell and may they watch over your department and keep you all safe while looking down on you from heaven and may God watch and protect both of their families.

My deepest sympathies go to the community and the coworkers of Cpl Ramier during their grief. What heartbreak to lose two law enforcement officers in such a short time. I'm praying for the friends and family members of Corporal Ramier, Deputy Mayo, and the injured officers.

Every time we lose a hero, my heart breaks a bit more.

It is unimaginable what has transpired over the last week. We have lost 2 brothers and our hearts are broken. To think we are on our way to bury one of our own and another is lost within a storm. So many of us are still in shock and one is just beginning possibly the struggle of her life for recovery. Beau will be missed and continued to be loved for his humor and tenderness.

We will keep the watch, Brother. Rest in peace.
