David and Family,

It is a shame you left this world so soon ! You were a special friend; a true all-american husband, soldier, father, officer and human being. It is hard to understand the why's of this world., but may your family and friends continue on with a piece of you in their heart and be comforted in these troubled times for we do not realize the treasures in heaven that have been bestowed on you when God called his angel home.

To the soldiers and officers out there reading this. Thanks for everything you do and May God Bless !

Love,

Mark and Maria Pauley

To all your family and co-workers, my sincerest sympathy, love and prayers. I didn't have the honor of knowing you Dave, but the guys I work with all say you were the greatest. You have alot of comrades where you are now and I'm sure Dale and Josh met you at the gate when you arrived. We'll never forget you or what you did and thank you for making Gallipolis a safer place to live.

Words are so inadequate at a time such as this. I am so sorry for the pain and loss your wife Michelle, your beautiful children, family, friends, colleagues, are experiencing, especially those brave men who tried to rescue you.
I pray that Michelle and your littles ones will know--in a very real way--God's peace and strength as life goes on, allbeit a different life, because of your absence.

I don't even know where to begin. You were loved by so many and will continue to be. You had the heart of gold and a smile that could brighten any room. I thought all of the world in you. I hope that your children know how much you meant to the world, and how much your family meant to you. You loved and thought the world of Michelle and the kids, and I admired that just as much as I admired what you did for all of us. I don't think I will ever understand why you were taken from us, but I know you will always be here. You were truly a good man. You will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Dave I can not believe that this has happened. It doesn't seem that long ago that me, lewis and them checked into the MP company, and were put under your charge. You are by far the most influential leader I have had in the Corps, and have taken meny things you have taught me, and pushed them down to my Marines the way you did to me. The way you lived your life both personally, and profesionaly are examples that I will continue to live by. I will miss you. To Michelle, Amy and I are here for you and the girls for anything that you guys need, love you all. Greg
