IT SADDENS ME TO HEAR WE HAVE LOST ANOTHER FINE OFFICER. BUT IT ALSO DOES MY HEART GOOT TO HEAR THAT TWO BRAVE CIVILIANS WANTED AND DID HELP. OFFICERS PUT THEIR LIFE ON THE LINE EVERYDAY AND TO THINK A STRANGER WOULD COME TO AN OFFICERS AID IS THE BEST FEELING AND SHOWS THERE ARE GOOD PEOPLE OUT THAT THAT RESPECT THE LAW.

My heartfelt sympathy to the family and colleagues of Corporal Bruce McKay. I call N.H. my "home" in spirit but I am living at my adopted home and work location in Florida. I once worked for the White Mountain National Forest. I was shocked and saddened when I read the location of this tragedy but I know that even wonderful places in N.H. are not immune to terrible things happening. Bravo to the brave civilians who did their best to help. God bless and Godspeed to Corporal McKay.
