MAY GOD BLESS THE FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND COWORKERS OF OFFICER BUCKMAN. OUR DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO ALL OF YOU. TO MY FALLEN BROTHER, MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND MAY YOU REST IN PEACE. YOU ARE A HERO. NOT BY THE WAY YOU DIED, BUT BY THE WAY YOU LIVED YOUR LIFE. THERE IS NO GREATER WAY TO DEPART FROM THIS EARTH, BUT TO DEPART TRYING TO HELP OTHERS IN NEED. Officer Buckman,
In your final moments, you were the essence of what makes a hero--literally rushing into a violent storm to safeguard lives; sacrificing your own in the process. We look up to your example and hope to live by the same standard you died by. Our deepest condolences to your family and the brave men and women of the Macksville Police Department, and all the grieving communities that suffered the wrath of this tornado. May you rest in peace, brother. The watch is ours now.
