Patrolman Donovan, today marks the 66 anniversary of your passing. I was privileged to attend the Somerville Police Academy many years ago and through that experience and the occasional dealing I have had with the Somerville Police Dept. I have great respect for those who work there. I know, though you are now gone, you will always be a member of that organization, and a proud member at that. Thank you for your service.

God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.

R.I.P. Officer Donovan. I'm glad your sacrifice has been recognized after all of these years. Before I started my full-time career as a police officer over twenty years ago, I was a Somerville Auxiliary Police Officer. I always looked up to the regular full-time Somerville Officers.
