Lisa,

Everytime I travel to Texas, my thoughts are of you and how you were so helpful during a murder investigation the night you'll caught our guy.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Sitting here listening to Creed, so I'm thinking about you, .....but I do that often!
I'm sure you are making everyone in Heaven laugh all the time.

You have been on my mind the last few days. Pasadena lost an officer today. It brings back all of those horrible feelings. I miss you so often. You could always make me laugh like crazy. Know that we miss you so much. I know you are watching over us.

Romy,
I can't walk into Target without thinking of you. We are doing lunch with your mom tomorrow. Im so glad we keep in touch. I think it helps us both keep you close. I really miss you. I can't believe it has been so long since you were taken from us. Sometimes it seems like yesterday planning halloween costumes and the goofy stuff we did. Although you aren't here, you will not be forgotten!

Hey Girl,
Well...June 24th I had another BEAUTIFUL baby boy!!! Garrett Michael Warren Batchelor. Yeah...LOL...big name for such a little man! I know you'd be giving me one heck of a time for that name. My fiancee...yeah I said it,is Irish and I found out Garrett means "brave warrior",that's why I named him that. I thought about how when I brought Tyler up to dispatch the first time after I had him,you just laid him in one of the chairs on his blanket and just stared at him forever! I wish you would've gotten the chance to meet my daughter Taryn...Lordy she's sassy...like you! Miss you girl!

Today is one of those days that you are on my mind a lot. I have so many things to say but then I get on here and everything escapes me, probably just age :)
I still miss you my friend-terribly. Save a seat for me.

As another year rolls by, the void is still there. We are in Tahoe right now. We have laughed about funny things you did and said. I think it is our way of dealing with the anniversary of the loss of such a special person who loved her job. You were so determined to get that badge and you did it. Our new bassett hound puppy makes me think of you a lot. I know that you would have adored him. I miss you so much but I know we will see each other again one day in heaven. Could you make sure that my house is decorated for me when I finally get there! I am in no hurry to get there. However, we all know you have good taste.

My thoughts are with all of your loved ones and close friends on this very trying day. I know all of the days are hard to get through, but this one especially. Continue to keep watch over all of your loved ones. You have not been forgotten.

I miss you so much.
It's just not right that you arent in the family picture we took this year at Grandma and Grandpa's.
Jay and I talk about you often, and I smile everyday when I look at your beautiful picture with Drake that hangs on my wall.
Thank you for being such a wonderful person to so, so many people. I love you Lisa.

Last night I was in James' room saying our prayers. He starts off and then I finish. He will be 7 in July. He was in the middle of his prayer and then he paraphased John 3:16 and then said, "Lord be with Mrs. Lisa, I sure miss her. I am going up there one day to see her, and I'm gonna see you too." It touched my heart so much that I felt I should share it. He mentions you in his prayers from time to time and asks God to be with Mrs. Lisa, but the way he said it last night made it very difficult to control my emotions while still in the room with him. It is obvious that on the few occassions you had to see James you made a lasting impression on him just as you did wit so many. Your Death was the first dealings James had with Death. He was saved a couple of weeks ago and now understands about Heaven and where we go if we are saved. I told him you are up in Heaven and I wasn't really sure he comprehended all of that untill last night. So until we see you again we will keep your memory alive with us.

Talked with Bobby the other day. Told me they were putting your name on the wall in Austin. As much as you deserve the honor, we all wish you were still here.

Thought about you all day yesterday. I laughed remembering how the first time I asked you how old you were you kinda looked at me with that "Cat that ate the canary" look and TOLD ME THE WRONG AGE!!! You always celebrated your birthday to the fullest. I was just talking to my cousin's husband about you and he asked if I knew you. I was proud to say I did. Taryn asks about you when we talk about officers Mommy has worked with. She always says she wishes she could have met you....and I always tell her she will someday.
Happy Birthday Girl!!!

Dear Lisa,
It seems like ages ago when you stopped next to my patrol car at 4:00am and asked if I was OK. I was OK back then, but not now, because the world is not an "OK place" without you. My wife and I visit your grave from time to time to pay respects. I said prayers for you at the Christmas Mass and lit a candle for you, as I always do. God bless you and give you peace. You made a difference in this world, and we will always remember. Respects from Jerry

Hey my friend, was thinking about you this morning and just wanted to let you know. I still miss you and wish you were here all the time. So many things remind me of you-it's crazy. HPD lost an officer today and my heart breaks for them. I still miss you so much. I was buying gloves for Jody's great neices and I thought of you because I made sure to get the ones with bling on them. Don't worry, I will buy the Kermit for Paige's baby since you aren't here. As I go through my Christmas things, I remember how much fun we had and how we made the hair stand up on the back of my mom's neck sometimes...I MISS YOU!

Love ya and miss ya.

Well....today is one year that I'm divorced. I can remember when Jason wrecked his bike at Lamar and you and Charla were on scene with my dad. I came running up and you were like,"That's JASON!!!???" You had NOTHING good to say about him that day. LOL!!! Well...I found a man who truely loves me,the way Jason never could and we're gonna have a baby this summer. I'm so happy and I wish you were here to make fun of how fat I've gotten. I talk about you all the time in dispatch at Nederland.I tell Tyler and Taryn about you too. I don't really know why I logged on here tonight,I just starting typing the website. Guess I needed to put into words what I know you're watching over. I feel like this one's a girl...I haven't been wrong yet. Wish you were here to buy her a talking Kermit too.
Love ya and miss you!!!
