Rest in Peace Lisa, even though I was young I remember everything about you. I miss you so much. Its sad to see bad things happen to good people, but I know you are watching down over my family and I with a huge smile on your face as our guardian angel.

Hey Lisa. Tomorrow is the 6th year anniversary of your passing. I still miss you like it was yesterday. Not only were you my sister but you were my best friend. I miss you so much. You wouldn't believe how big the kids have gotten. Koby is only 13 and he's already 3 or 4 inches taller then me. So is Raquel. You did say when we married our husbands that we were breeding up. They miss you too. We all took it very hard when you left us. Remember that I love you very much.

Hey girl, its late and I cant sleep. For some reason I just started thinking about you so I thought I would say a word or two. A day doesn't pass that you don't come to mind. I often wonder what things would be like if you were still here. I guess we will just have to wonder and remember how it used to be. A bunch of things have changed in the few years youv'e been gone. We're having a memorial service this week where we will honor Bryan and place his badge next to yours. You and Bryan are so missed around here. Oh God if only people understood the sacrifices that are made by officers all over this country every day. Is it possible to measure the cost that is paid to ensure the peace and security of this nation ? I think not ! There is a song by Brian Phillips that I listen to from time to time called "Why do hero's have to die" ? Why do hero's have to die ? Why do police officers go out every day and put their lives in harms way ? Why do they run to calls that others are running away from ? Because, its just what they do ! You and Bryan are hero's Lisa and you will never be forgotten....I miss you Lisa.

Man Lisa, I still miss our conversations at the hospital. Whether it be about men, you redecorating your house, men, our pets, men, oh and more men. HA I wish I still had some of your text messages just to have something from you.
I want you to know that I continue to wear the band I had created for you on this site: I may no longer work at the hospital, see my first responder friends, but I have always kept your memory alive at work. I may be teaching now, but I have done my best to remind my students (and other teachers) the importance of honoring first responders (living and "remembered"). I never leave my house without my band, and I welcome a chance to talk about you to anyone who asks about the band.
5 years ago to this hour you were hurt, and in just an hour it will be 5 years ago you passed. I will continue to honor, respect, and do my best to keep your memory alive. A couple of years ago, I adopted an animal in honor of your love for animals. I named him Bados. :-)
I am honored that I was allowed the chance to get to know you, and I will never forget you.

Been thinking about you a lot lately. I miss you so much. We always had a way of making my mom cringe. She is in heaven with you now. Memories of you still bring a smile. As I have dealt with some difficult people lately, I feel like you have been right there with me. Love you bunches!

Hi again.......Well, between taxis and prisons, work keeps me quite busy. I know i was just "tolerable" during those crockett street nights but if i had to do it all over again i would. Sometimes i wonder how bobby and richard handle things without you around...not to mention the other officers and dispatchers that knew and loved you. No matter what happens I feel that in my life i have known some of the finest men and women who serve the beaumont community. Its not easy for them and they should be respected for what they do every night and every day. You are sooo missed and yet alive in our memories.
