Lisa,
I was sitting here today reading your reflections left for you. I read Bobby and Richard's reflections. I read the eulogy from Bobby Anderson, even though I was there when he delivered it. As i have moved on in life from driving taxis, I'll always carry the memories of my times at Crockett Street with you, Bobby, Richard, Steve, James and Kelvin. Even though I was hanging around you guys more than I should have, I will always be greatful for the help. I remember the time you called me and then cancelled because you found out that the one I was picking up did'nt have any money. I still would have taken them. For you or any of the others mentioned here. I saw Bobby last week on tv and he was doing all he could not to cry while he talked of you. You were so loved by so many that it is truly amazing. I will miss you Lisa. I wish to be as good as a person that you were so we can meet again someday.

What to say to you that I haven't already said while looking at your picture every day. I keep your picture as the background on my cell phone. I was able to find the greatest memorial bracelet just for you. When I heard you past, all I could think about was how you never took off Conrad's band. I wanted you to have that as well. I went searching the web and looked thru so many sites to find just the right one for you. I found it,
http://www.officerpratt.org/TyeBandCom/beaulieu_lisa.html, and I spoke to the most inspiring man because of you. The man that created that site is the father of Tye Pratt, an officer killed in the line of duty. His site is a dedication to his son while helping others remembering those they lost. I spoke to the dad on the phone for quite a long time the other day. He said that all the guys up in Lincoln, NE were talking about how beautiful you were! Ha Yeah, they have no idea just how beautiful you really were. He approved the picture that was on your program and I am excited to have that picture of you be the one on my memorial bracelet and tag. I gave this website information to the police dept and they contacted him and Mr. Pratt sent everyone in the dept a free band in honor of you. I hope I did you well by finding the best memorial band I could find to honor such an incredible, funny, sarcastic, beautiful, devoted, and caring person. I am so lucky to have known you and I will take you with me every day, my friend. You will be honored and never forgotten.

Lisa,
I hope that you are resting in peace. I hope that you are feeling no pain. You died in the line of duty doing your job. You were protecting another officer while he did his job. You died a HERO. You died a Beaumont Police Officer. You should be proud that you were giving the ultimate sacrafice. I am proud to have known you. Watch over us and keep us safe. Tell Conrad I said hello. Tell Mike I said hello. God be with you and rest easy.

Lisa, what an honor it was to ride on Saturday with the group of people from Beaumont -- your friends and possibly family -- in honor of you and all officers fallen in the line of duty.
I recognized your picture with angel wings on the back of their shirts. We had pulled in right before them so they parked in front of us. I had to catch my breath and tried to hold back tears! How proud they are of you.....and what a beautiful act of love. To bare their pain and hurt in such a loving and beautiful way.
Although I never knew you, on April 27th I lost a sister in blue and more than ever I realized it on Saturday.

Rest in Peace -- and watch over your brothers and sisters! Thank you!

My thoughts and prayers to all who P/O Beaulieu left behind. No matter what we as police officers are called to do, there is always an element of danger, even in tasks outsiders see as routine. Rest in peace, Officer.

It's never easy hearing about another hero lost. I have been a Sheriff's Deputy for two years, and just 2 months ago my partner was shot in the chest during a welfare check, luckily he survived. While an officers death is very tragic, it is a constant reminder of the dangers we face every day and the sacrifices we each face, or make for our fellow man. My condolences to the family of Officer Bealieu, and the Beaumont Police Department. Blessed are the peacemakers Matthew 5:9
