Was such an honor to meet your family. Their pride in you is so apparent and it is obvious from all the stories that you were a truly remarkable man. Keep a watch over all of them, they miss you so much. You have touched many lives, beyond those people you met.

I was very honored to ride in your memory during the Police Unity Tour. While we never knew each other, after having spent just a few minutes with your family, it was obvious that you were a wonderful person who loved life and made a lasting positive impression on every life you touched. May you rest in peace and watch over the rest of us. Thank you for your service.

Luke, I pray that your family was able to take further steps towards healing this week. You are so loved and so missed by so many. You were well honored, remembered and respected during Police Week. I watched Officers from other States tell your father about having attended your funeral and how your story touched so many. Your family will always be in our thoughts and prayers. Please continue to watch over us and we carry on your work. Rest in Peace Brother.

Luke it was bitter sweet to meet your parents and family, especially your aunt who is also your godmother. Watching your name being engraved was an emotional experience for me, although Mark's name was added in April of 1994 at those times families were not invited to see the work while it was being done. Your father was the first to etch your name on the wall. Mark's daughter Colleen, now 18 years old made a special wreath for your family to place at your section. Colleen was so happy to help another family start to heal after such a tragic death of their son, brother, cousin, in-laws of your siblings, friends and coworkers from police and fire departments. You are missed, you are remembered and we carry your memory in our hearts to tell others so that they may heal from their tragedy.

Luke,I don't even know where to begin. The motions of one year ago are still so vivid in my mind. The pain I felt one year ago is still there. I miss you so much and it is still hard to believe you are not here. I try to push that horrible day in the back of my mind and stay strong for your family and friends but it just doesn't get any easier. It is so unfair. You were such a young, vibrant, intelligent young man who gave so much. I am so very proud of you. Keep spreading your wings over those you have left behind and keep patrol of our heaven. Love U Bro!

It's almost been a year and it's hard to imagine it's been without you. Whenever I see your truck I can't help but think it's you driving it. I know you are up there keeping an eye on us- thank you.
You were taken far before you should have been but I am sure there's a reason, one that we may never know. You were always such a great guy, a true gentleman! You are truly missed.
Thinking of you so much today and everyday...

It's April again, hard to believe it has been a year since we bid you goodbye. As the days creep closer to the fateful anniversary of April 25, I no longer want to ask why. Instead I want to know how? How can we best honor your memory? How can we continue to live but never forget? I know you can hear me when I talk to you and I count on you looking out for me, the rest of your family and friends and most importantly the men and women in blue. Your memory reminds me to strive and live each day and each opportunity to the fullest! You will forever remain in my heart Luke, never to be forgotten!

Luke,

I miss you so much. I think about you every day and can still hear your voice telling me everything will be ok. You had such a big heart and you were one of the best friends a person could ask for. I would do anything to see your smiling face again. I'll never forget you and you will always have my heart.

Love You Always
